I am overwhelmed at school. When I figure out what is going on I well let you know but I wanted to post something because I miss you all.
Sunday was a wonderful day. We played hooky from church which is really unusual for us. Tom almost let me sleep late. Sleeping past 8 o’clock is something Tom just can’t seem to understand. It is one of his few shortcomings.
But he made me a delicious breakfast and then we headed to the river. I could feel the peacefulness stealing over me as we got closer. I really feel like that is my home. Of course a kitchen would be nice. Chalk that up to Tom wanting everything to be perfect!! I think it was PK who once said that the only reason she had a kitchen was that it came with the house! I feel the same way. But I just want everything done. But at the same time I am not pushing it because moving seem so daunting and the idea of selling the house we are in now makes me sad too. And of course if I try to drive an hour one way to school Tom would have a hissy!
But the house still welcomed us. I love sitting on the deck and it was warm enough this weekend. Tom and I walked all around the neighborhood and we found a nice little diner and had lunch. Shortly after when we got back to the house our neighbor’s got home. It really tickled us to hear Drew jump out of the car yelling “They’re here, they’re here!” talking about us! What a welcome!!
We had a wonderful visit. All and all the day was very relaxing and just what the doctor ordered! I wish I was there now!

I'm glad you got some time to relax for once!

Cassie, now that you have a full time job you need to relax at the week-end.
It's nice that your neighbours look forward to your return.
Take care dear sister.
Love and warm brotherly hugs,
Paul.
Awww.. isn't it nice when you know you're loved!!! I don't think I've ever heard anyone that excited to see me... oh, wait. I take that back. My twin acts that way at times. No wonder I love her! Hope things settle soon with the job. I know you're doing wonderful!!!
Hugs~
Eva
Yes I am that excited to see Eva and you just can't imagine the reaction you would receive out here if you dropped in to see one of us.
I am glad your weekend was relaxing. Don't let school get to you. You will do GREAT! Trust me, I know everything, I'm a teacher!!
Hugs,
PK
Hi Cassie,
We miss you too! Take it easy at your new job and you'll be used to it in no time. :)
Well Cassie mom..who wouldn't be glad to see you. I so hope you are having a better day. You do seem overwhelmed but i honestly believe that you are one the kindest and caring people i know. Btw, you have mail..Love ya'..Val..(yeah i used my name)
Cassie, I am glad you are enjoying the job. Nothing more important than working with kids! Glad the weekend was nice~ Sara
Glad you had some time to relax. Please take care...:-)
assie,
You make the river house sound so peaceful. I want one! :-)
Jobs are definitely demanding. I think the kids are so lucky to have you. There are very few people who care as genuinely as you do!

Cassie, I feel the same way about the kitchen. The only reason mine is being remodeled is because, for some reason other people like that room and feel it should be modernized. When I look at a new house, that's not a room I care too much about. I look for walk-in closets, jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom, the important stuff.
I understand your overwhelmed feeling because when I started back to work I was not up-to-date on things having been off for so long. Plus this job required a college degree, which I didn't have. Not that I couldn't do the job but I felt inadequate for a long time. I hope you get worked out what you need to so that you are no longer overwhelmed.
Love,
Lori
Reesa,
I really wish we could be at the river all the time.
Paul,
I just don't know how people work all the time. I think I would collapse.
Eva and PK,
I can imagine you both feeling that way when you see each other. I have to tell you both my admiration for teachers has skyrocketed it the last week!
Angel,
I like to be here as much as I can. Thank you.
Val? You don't mind using your name? You are still sweetie to me!! I thank you for your emails they did help.
Sara,
I really love being at school. I just want to do it right.
Trepsichore,
It is soon going to be hard to pry me from that house.
Jess,
Thank you! I just don't want to mess one of them up!
Lori,
I have never really worked and this does scare me. I think I liked it better when I was volunteering.
